VPC Dual-SF Collective Grip

Inspired by the legendary attack helicopter, you can now fly this famous aircraft as intended with the full suite of collective controls at your fingertips. 

Featuring an authentic design, including the non-traditional "dual-grip", VIRPIL Controls continues to put the feel of a real helicopter collective in your hands! The VPC Dual-SF Collective Grip provides the full suite of collective inputs, with minor changes, as found on the real-life helicopter.

Built using the latest advancements at VIRPIL Controls, we've aimed to create an authentic, high quality collective grip for virtual helicopter pilots while maintaining full compatibility with the existing VPC Rotor TCS Collective Bases.

Due to the grip's unique design and length, the VPC Dual-SF Collective is built with a lightweight construction to ensure peak performance and precision from your collective base!

Utilising a real, physical finger-lift detent system, the MongoosT-50CM3 Throttle can be configured to require lifting to pass through a detent to prevent accidental crossover into the idle cutoff or afterburner range. Alternatively, push-through detent plates can be installed which provide tactile feedback when crossing the detent, without requiring the use of the finger-lifts. 

Included Detent Plates:

★ Classic - Lift to pass detents, push return.
★ Classic Plus - Lift to pass detents, push return but with an additional tactile bump immediately after lifting. 
★ Warthog-Type - Lift to pass and lift to return detents.
★ Aerobatic - Push through and push return detents.
★ CosmoSim - Push through central detent.

The detent plates can be adjusted forwards and backwards to position them where you need them within the axis range. The plates can also be mixed and matched between sets to provide a huge number of configuration possibilities.

While not found on it's realworld counterpart - the VPC Dual-SF Collective Grip features a robust programmable backlighting system with 8 inpedendant zones. Backlighting can be configured based on button/shift states, or simply to match the aesthetic of your cockpit! For those seeking ultimate realism, the backlighting can be disabled. 

The VPC Configuration Suite is a powerful collection of tools that offer a huge range of programmable and configurable options to take your setup even further. With the ability to configure axis-to-buttons, virtual axis, shift states, toggles and more - there's nothing you can't control with your VIRPIL Controls gear!

The VPC Dual-SF Collective Grip is compatible with the VPC Rotor TCS Collectives, and recognised as a standard USB input device without requiring additional drivers, and as such is directly compatible with a huge array of USB controller compatible games and flight sims. The VPC Dual-SF Collective Grip can be mounted to any VPC Rotor TCS Collective in your cockpit. By using our Chair Mount Collective Adapter you can attach your collective to a range of standard office-style chairs, or by using the included bracket you can custom mount to an existing DIY or 3rd party cockpit.
